K\u00fcnzel bucket elevators are used for the vertical conveying of grain, malt and other bulk materials. They are available in several standard dimensions for a wide capacity range or can be individually designed and manufactured as special versions for many different applications and conveying capacities.<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our bucket elevators come with a choice of normal steel version with painted or galvanised surface, and a stainless steel version. The elevator foot is fitted with a belt tensioner. The actual belt runs in a caged pulley in the foot in order to avoid caking which could otherwise impair correct operation. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With the selection of bucket type, number of buckets per meter and by defining the belt speed K\u00fcnzel experts can optimise the operating parameters for the individual application and the required capacity.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/section>\n\n\n\n

Safety equipment<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

K\u00fcnzel bucket elevators are particularly safe to operate and are fitted with the following monitoring and safety elements:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  • Mechanical anti-reverse lock<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Belt speed monitoring by proximity switches installed on the elevator foot<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Belt alignment control consisting of 4 contact switches mounted out-side the casing<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Antistatic belt<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Motor according to Ex-rating<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Round elevator tubes, 3 bar pressure resistant<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • External bearings<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

    For customer-specific requirements also available with the following options:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    • Pressure relief – with flame barriers, where necessary<\/li>\n\n\n\n
    • Bearing temperature monitoring<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n

      Explosion protection<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

      All K\u00fcnzel components are able to meet the requirements of explosion protection according to ATEX, NFPA or other country specific guidelines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
